Ubisoft has officially announced the Mediterranean Traveller map pack for Assassin's Creed Revelations.

Set for release on January 24, the DLC will cost 800 Microsoft Points (£6.85) on Xbox 360 and £7.99 on PS3 and PC.
Here's the official description:
Players can journey to the majestic holy city of Jerusalem, the opulent imperial district of Constantinople and the colourful mercantile district of Dyers. Fans of the franchise can also revisit favourite Italian Renaissance maps from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood specifically requested by Assassin's Creed players to be included in the pack. To start, players will explore the historic city of Firenze (Florence), then travel to the mountains of San Donato and visit night-time Siena with its carnival lights, talented performers and deadly hiding spots.

far far too expensive, i enjoy the multiplayer but 800 points is too much for 6 maps

800 Points/£8 might be a bit much for 6 maps, especially if some are just old maps re-released for a new game, but it's certainly waaay better than £13 for 4 or 5 maps. I'm looking at you Activision!

The simple fact that they now seem to focus more on MP than SP in this series has been enough to put me off. Saddened to see them do it. Ruined Brotherhood.

I loved ACB multiplayer (Got into it to get my platinum trophy).
I think the ACR MP is great but I dislike their focus on multiplayer, we need more SP content because not every 9-12 year old plays AC multiplayer like on COD...
However; I can see some people buying this for the new maps, San Donato was one of my favourite maps and that probably is the only old map that should return for the asking price. I guess those who love this game will be pleased though and will be a good way to expand the AC multiplayer experience due to how unique it is.
