Ubisoft has delayed the release of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Ubisoft also confirmed a PC version of the game will launch at "a later date", and said a multiplayer beta for Xbox 360 and PS3 will commence in April.
It said in a statement: "These extra few months will allow Ubisoft's creative teams more time to refine the experience and deliver a game that fully achieves the level of excellence that defines the Ghost Recon franchise."
Adrian Lacey, IP development director at Ubisoft Studios France, further explained the delay: "Ubisoft prides itself on creating some of the most compelling and innovative experiences in digital entertainment.
"Today we are feature complete in our multiplayer, single player and four player co-op campaign modes. We have taken the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience.
"The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks."

Is it going to be an open BETA or closed cuz i remember reading something about only owners of Splinter Cell Conviction would participate in the BETA but if its coming to PS3 then it must be for everyone i can't wait for this game and max payne 3 will keep me busy till then

I fking bought an extra kinect for the gunsmith aspect of the game then you delay it .thier better be one hell of a reason other than the MP aspect of the game ,what's next your going to delay the Patriot too .

I bet its the kinect aspect that is causing the delays.. they made the demo too impressive.. thus need to work extra hard in sorting it out. Can't have it not working, can they!

This is good news. I want this game but was being pushed down the list with Mass Effect 3 & Max Payne 3 so I am glad it's being moved so I can give it my full attention when it does finally arrive.
