Alan Wake developer Remedy has started hiring for what it's calling a "groundbreaking AAA console project."

"We want your help in taking our artificial intelligence, character & enemy behaviour to the next level," the listing notes.
"You will be working on the next iteration of Remedy's in-house engine that was previously used in Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare."
Naturally speculation's already pointed to Alan Wake 2, with the developer itself making clear that upcoming XBLA spin-off, American Nightmare is 'not a sequel'.

I bet this is that Alan Wake 2. Notice how they say 'console project' and not just new game. Next xbox without a doubt in my mind.

I can't see this as being anything other than AW2, given that Remedy are a pretty small team. I don't see them having two big projects on the go, especially with AW's story yet to be concluded.
