Metal Gear legend Hideo Kojima's confirmed that a playable demo for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will appear at this year's E3.
The news arrives via an interview for Famitsu magazine, which also involves developer Platinum Games' CEO Tatsuya Minami and producer Atsushi Inaba.
The collaboration between Kojima Productions and Platinum Games is also mentioned in the chat, with Kojima saying how the relationship "started getting serious" at the Vita announcement press conference last January.
Minami said on the shocking departure from stealth mechanic, that it was removed as it "didn't fit with the new nature of the game."
Kojima has said repeatedly that he will not be involved with the development process, so it will be worth the wait to see if Platinum Games' new stealth-deprived offering, coming to PS3 and Xbox 360, can live up to the series' staggeringly high standards.
