Sony has released a PlayStation Vita app enabling users to access photo-sharing site Flickr.

The new Vita app joins existing ones for Twitter and Japanese YouTube equivalent Nico Nico Video. Facebook, Foursquare and Skype apps for Vita are also in development, although Sony hasn't announced any release dates.
Are you picking up a Vita at launch and if so, which model are you going to plump for? Cast your eyes over our PS Vita review, if you haven't already, and don't forget the PS Vita release date is just over one short month away now.

shame the camera on it is guff...
the camera on the 3DS trounces it, quite embarrassing for a supposed high end device.

Take a picture of all your PS3 games then you'll know what to expect on Vita

Lets get this straight, 3DS and Vita both have VGA cameras difference is 3DS's pictures come out over-saturated and Vita's under-saturated and that is from software rendering not the sensors.
3DS's sensors don't trounce on anything, they are quite bad 20fps and bad at lowlight while Vita's are 60fps back-illuminated low-light sensors capable of 120fps at lower resolution. Anyone who says 3DS's cameras are better doesn't know what they are talking about. Those cameras are meant for AR at which lowlight and FPS trumps over-saturated pictures, if it was meant for photography Sony would use 1 of the many many higher quality sensors they make like the ones on the iPhone 4S and several other phones and tablets.
END OF RANT

Depends if it's mainly for video purposes or still photographs.

Although, saying that (after you've finished ranting) the 3ds can take 3d still photos and 3d movies (and then display them on its own screen in 3d, dont really think you can discount that, in fact isnt that quite impressive.
Im sure the Sony camera will be fine ,however cant remember what megapixel it is, actually i'm pretty sure that Sony havnt confirmed what the front and back cameras are, pretty essential when your going to judge the camera obviously, any one know?

To answer your question, CVG, I'm planning in getting a wifi model on launch day. I hate money leaving my account monthly, so the 3G model isn't for me.
