The world's largest video game controller was wheeled out in London this week, weighing in at a hefty 18 stone (265 pounds) and costing £4,000.

The record-breaking device measures 30 times the size of a standard NES controller, says GWR, and what's more it actually works - commuters worked together by jumping on the buttons to play NES titles.
Creator of the device, British Engineering student Ben Allen, said: "This is really a labour of love. We're passionate about gaming and wanted to honour its most iconic device; the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) joypad.

Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2012 is on sale from today.

I remember the days when the Guiness book of records had some credibility. Meaningful records like 'fastest man on earth' or 'strongest female alive.' Now you've got arseholes attempting to set records like 'most m&ms stuffed into a foreskin whilst listening to Pink Floyd's The wall on repeat in the south of France on the 30th June at 11.47am.' b*****ks.
