WipEout 2048 intro movie, new screens

Take a closer look at the stunning PS Vita launch game

Sony has sent over a couple of WipEout 2048 intro movies, one with developer commentary and one without.

It has also released a new batch of screenshots for the lovely looking Vita racer, which launches alongside Sony's upcoming handheld in Europe on February 22.

WipEout 2048 hopes to be more welcoming to those new to the series with wider tracks that allow racers to concentrate on the racing, according to producer Michael Pulst, who reasons that the series' notoriously difficult tracks "turned people off'".

    Just downloaded this of the Japanese PSN..... all i can say is WOW !!!!!!!!!!

    The graphics look even better than the PS3 games, the music and general sound is amazing (especially if you have a good pair of earphones).

    Well done studio Liverpool , I think wipeout is one of the few games that has stay consistanly good since the start with out changing too much.

    Im not buying a Vita but if I did it would be the only game I needed.
