Eat Sleep Play founder and Twisted Metal director David Jaffe has confirmed a demo for the game will be released on the PlayStation Network, although no specific release date was announced.

Jaffe has said in the past that he isn't a fan of day one patches, but justified Twisted Metal's with an in-depth breakdown of why the game needs one, along with the small tweaks it will introduce, as you can see below.
Last week Justin Trease, Twisted Metal's QA lead, revealed the game will require an Online Pass, something Jaffe has previously spoken out against.

I've never known an American to be so enthusiastic about something British. God bless you Dave.

Somehow i think a demo for this game may just be as harmfull as forcing the PSN Pass on it. Anyone's who's never played a previous title is not gonna know what the hells going on and returning fans have already voiced their concerns on the looks. This demo could be the final nail for those fans.
Then again i could be completely wrong.
