New screens for Dynasty Warriors Next on PS Vita

Tecmo Koei has released a new batch of Dynasty Warriors Next screenshots, showing off the upcoming PlayStation Vita launch title's character editing options and touch-screen duel system.

"When battling certain officers, a special kind of Duel takes place," it says. "Duels switch to an almost first person viewpoint and make use of the PS Vita's touch controls for fighting controls and interaction.

"Use touch controls to repel enemy attacks, win weapon lockups and quickly strike at gaps in the enemy's defences."

In terms of editing characters, you will have a number of adjustable character attributes to personalise your warrior in Conquest mode.

The focus on certain 1v1 duels is a bit of a change from the usual Dynasty Warriors fare, but hopefully the masses of enemies are still there for you to cut down.

Dynasty Warriors Next will be available on the PlayStation Vita across Europe on February 22, In the meantime, check out the new screens below.
