Vita's neat-looking augmented reality fighting game, Reality Fighters, will have a special treat in store for players.
When you make your own fighter in the game, the infamous Mr. Miyagi will turn up as your guide, teaching you the ropes (with possible use of car wax) in his iconic attire and headband.
Players "who persevere", according to Sony, will later be able to unlock the cultural icon as a playable character.
Mitsuo Hirakawa of SCE XDev Studio said the dev team considered many other personalities, including Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jet Li and even Mike Myers, for the role before settling on Mr. Miyagi for his humorous characteristics.
Noriyuki Morita, the actor who played Miyagi, sadly passed away in 2005, so the character will be voiced by American voice actor Jim Ward.
