Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshinori Ono has said the Wii U first shown off at E3 last June isn't an accurate reflection of what Nintendo's new console will offer upon release.
"I can't tell you more about it because, if I do, Nintendo will send assassins to finish me!" Ono added. "But let's say that Wii U will be a console with so many and unique possibilities that it will be difficult to show them in the box they are going to sell it or to be published by magazines and other mediums."
Yesterday an anonymous developer claimed Wii U will have around twice the processing and graphical power of Xbox 360.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata today reiterated that Wii U will be available in Japan, Europe and the US by the end of 2012.

Please no 3D screen? I'm scared enough of the price as is and I don't want Nintendo selling this thing for losses with the massive loss they have just taken. As for Capcom, the only thing that will get my attention is Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 or a Dino Crisis. Otherwise couldn't give a hoot.

Xbox720 is going to have 6 x more graphical power than Xbox360
Xbox720 will have 20% more graphical powerfull than WiiU

I think Capcom vs Smash may actually be a possibility remember Ono was one of the few who hinted at the U before the rumours began and has mentioned it's a game Capcom won't turn down to make.

I am not really too fussed with the power of the Wii U as once they stated that it could do 1080p@60fps I was like yes, now I can enjoy my Nintendo faves on my LCD in 1080p and not the upscaled games on PS3 and 360. We are reaching the point of diminishing returns so Wii U will have a place in the collection and hopefully we get a much sharper view of Nintendo games. I am intrigued by how you can seamlessly swap video feed from the tv to the controller on the fly that was ace. Now I will wait to see what Nintendo will do with it, these guys are always the best with the things they bring out. The WiiU was confirmed to have 2x graphical power than the 360 when it was first announced....
But of course, Nintendo have been working on it since then, so now it's far nearer the specs of the 720.
