Many linguist experts recommend you completely ignore this rule, or at least the 'except after c' part; the reason being that there are actually more exceptions to the rule than there are words which comply to it. A few examples off the top of my head: "neighbour", "height", "seize", "weird", "foreign", "society", "proficient", and "deficient".

I hate that damn rule, it's so frikkin' stupidly ridiculous! And even then they don't have an excuse considering the 'i' and the 'e' are after the 'c' and yet they still get it wrong, lol.

I can't spell revelations without looking it up,I rely on the spell check on my iPad/iPhone when writing and if I can't spell it I google it or end up writing a different word if I can't spell it.

Just got game through the post, and my case doesn't have any typos. The spine has the Resident Evil Revelations logo, not typed-out text. Also got Circle Pad Pro, but can't play game yet as my girlfriend borrowed my 3DS for Mario 3D Land.
