Capcom have decided to put Mega Man into Street Fighter X Tekken as an exclusive character for the PlayStation 3.

Oh, and Pac-Man is in there somewhere controlling a robot version of Mokujin. That's pretty cool too.
Yoshinori Ono has confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter X Tekken won't have its own exclusive character.

I find it a bit puzzling really. Megaman belongs to Capcom and Pac-man belongs to Namco. Why are they Sony exclusive? Not that I really give a s**t. The game's called Street Fighter x Tekken not Street Fighter x Tekken x Infamous x Cats x Capcom x Namco. The exclusive characters will all be banned at tournament level anyway.
The whole thing seems very bizarre.

I was thinking exactly the same, it's not Capcom vs Namco.
Maybe there's been some kind of deal with Sony and they didn't want to leave the 360 version without Tekken or SF characters so they've got these ones?

Ono apparently wanted Marcus Fenix and Master Chief for the xbox version but talks fell through. I'm extremely glad they did. Console exclusive characters are just a bad idea in my humble opinion. Focus on the core game.

Well,
I'm glad their doing this, injecting a little bit of humor with these characters isnt a bad thing and they extra characters for crying out loud!!
You dont have to choose them - im happy capcom are putting in extra love and giving the (ok sony ) gamers something a little more!
