An actual PSP trailer - Black Panther 2: Yakuza Asura Chapter

Sega shows there's still life in the first-gen Sony portable

Vita this, Vita that. Let's not forget the good old PSP that dropped jaws in 2004. It's all gone quiet for Sony's old portable but Sega's not ready to let it go. Sniff.

This is a good look at Black Panther 2: Yakuza Asura Chapter, the sequel to Sega's Yakuza spin-off, Black Panther: Like a Dragon New Chapter (formerly known as 'Project K'), which only released in Japan in 2010.

This new game, out in Japan in March, has a new buddy system that lets you walk the streets with a mate, who will help you put foot to arse when the need arises.

The public will now also crowd around to see main protagonist Tatsuya slap around his foes when things get nasty, with the odd stranger tossing you a weapon to use. What lovely people they are.

Sure, it may never be localized, but it does look great and, as Sega has had its arm twisted regarding the Yakuza series on PS3, you can only hope that it may do the same with this.

Or learn Japanese. Simples.

PSP has been great in japan, since i'm a fan of anime most of the good games come from there anyway.

Gundam games, naruto, HTS bleach games.

I hope the vita gets the same treatment regardless of what happens over in the u.s

Being a Yakuza fan, was v excited when the first Black Panther title was released and hoped, coming shortly after Yakuza 3, it would be localised for us in the West.
Unfortunately it wasn't and this won't be either, especially as the psp is all but dead in the water now.

    Shame :(
