The Witcher 2 intro looks stunning on Xbox 360

It is CGI, mind...

The Witcher 2 developer, CD Projekt Red, is celebrating the announcement of the console version's release date by showing off the intro cinematic from the critically acclaimed RPG. And what an cinematic it is.

Yes, we're fully aware that it's all CGI, but that didn't stop it from putting a grin on our face, we're suckers for eye candy and this trailer has plenty of it.

Check it out.

After a delay caused by a legal tussle between Namco and THQ over publishing rights to the game, the Witcher 2 Xbox 360 release date has been confirmed for April 17. For those interested Namco Bandai won.

a cgi trailer is stunning sure. it's a presentation of imagination, art and skill. a video running on 360 is not impressive. developers should be using in game and gameplay for trailers. this video is not impressive. when it comes to videogame trailers this is weak sauce.

resident evil 6 has no high end cgi. all in game cut scenes and gameplay. that's how publishers should roll.

Fair amount of screen tear in the video, & low rez textures on everything but the faces with less facial animation. Still looks good however.

I'm looking forward to this game. Does anybody know how long a single playthrough is, i've heard that it's quite short (for a RPG)?
