That's right, a Dragon Age anime...

Here's something you might never have known existed three minutes ago: an anime based on BioWare's Dragon Age.

Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker sees Bioware and EA hooking up with with FUNimation - the american company that brings over (and occasionally ruins) Japan's most popular animated shows.

The project will be directed by Fumihiko Sori, who produced Appleseed and directed Vexille, with animation duties falling to Oxybot.

Dawn of the Seeker follows Cassandra, an Orlesian Seeker that's accused of treason and murder. Naturally, Cassandra is going to clear her name and save the day by stabbing and magicking everyone to death.

Check out the trailer below.

In other Dragon Age related news, an insider has reported that the next Dragon Age will be getting arena-based multiplayer with a playable Dragon.

Don't quite know how but I've known about this for quite a while. There's apparently been a lot of stink from the Dragon Age faithful re: inappropriate style used for the animation. Wouldn't mind a look though. Anyone know who will be showing / hosting this?

As for playing a dragon in a multiplayer add on to DA3.............

    Right, I'm answering my own question. It's a DVD / Blu-Ray release.

Is it just me or do the graphics in this look strictly inferior to those in the Dragon Age games?

Urgh, more low budget anime styled crap. Didn't think much of the Dead Space animations either to be honest.
