Mass Effect 3 video details voice cast

Put some faces to all those voices you love

BioWare has released a new star-studded behind the scenes video with the voice cast of Mass Effect 3.

The video features Martin Sheen, who Mass Effect fans may know better as the father of Charlie Sheen - he's also the Illusive Man or something - along with Seth Green, who plays Joker, Keith David a.k.a David Anderson, and Jennifer 'FemShep' Hale.

Newcomers include Jessica Chobot of PSP licking fame and Freddie Prinze Jr., who plays Shepard's latest recruit, James Vega.

Check out the video below.

Earlier this month BioWare released a trailer for the Mass Effect 3 Special Forces multiplayer mode.

Freddie Prinze Jr and Jessica Chobot? Ugh. Any chance of some DLC to remove them from the game?

Are there any spoilers in this concerning plot or new character details? Not watching or reading otherwise, i know how CVG works.

Probably picked up from SWTOR voicing.. but what makes it even worse is she looks like her ingame character too, so ill be trying to skip as much conversation with her as possible.

Got to agree, no offense to Chobot but what in the f**k were they thinking?! Every time she appears I'm going to get ripped out of the immersion, reminded I'm playing a game and thinking "IGN!!!" :?

Any one else feels like we need Liam Neeson doing character voice overs? Something about that raspy but direct voice that seems fitting to a grizzled but cool Shepherd. Freddie Prinze Jr, why not Fred Savage and that annoying kid who plays that Fred character on Nickolodeon. Chobot, hmm, perhaps they can round it all out and get Ahnold in there too with his creepy man moans.

Liam Neeson should be in every game, film, song, book and cereal box, he's just that f**king awesome. Also needs Sean Connery for "Ah Reapersh we've dishmished that clayum" awesome. Why not Ron Pearlman actually? He'd really fit in as maybe a krogan or something.

Liam Neeson is a great actor but he can't voice-act to save his life. He was so flat in Fallout 3.

So where's Miranda and Jack and Tali or Mordin? I can understand some of 2 not being there namely the merc and the drell but come on some of these were great characters, Kasumi was cool too.

Please don't make Jessica Chobot a love interest. Do not want.

One thing Bioware seem to be incapable of is making likable human characters.

It's almost as if they think "well they're human, so people can associate with them so we've not need to make them convincing, more than 1 dimensional characters".

The alien characters are almost without exception brilliant, but from both 1 & 2, and from what I've seen of Freddy Prinze Jnr's character there hasn't been a single human that I've liked (except maybe Miranda, but I'm a sucker for an Aussie accent, even in digital form)
