Now everyone can annoy their friends with in-game Steam messages from their mobiles.

The app was launched last week in closed beta form, restricting access. Now open for all to use for free, the app allows gamers to chat with Steam friends, browse community groups and user profiles, view screenshots and user-generated content for their favorite games, read the latest gaming news, keep up with Steam sales, and more.
Steam now offers over 1,800 games to more than 40 million account holders, with year-over-year unit sales up by more than 100 percent for the seventh straight year in 2011 - a record year for the service.

Awesome, i finally gave into the temptation of a smartphone and got a Galaxy ace, had this early touchscreen from when they first came around but its been pretty much wrecked for months, will be cool if you can purchase games on it or even move on to android/ios compatible games
