Twisted Metal demo out today in US

Eight vehicles and two modes free to try this afternoon

Sony has revealed that the Twisted Metal demo, confirmed last week, will arrive on the US PS Store today.

The announcement went out via the US PS Blog, which makes no mention of the UK release (better get those US PSN accounts fired up then).

The demo will contain an impressive eight vehicles to try out in two gameplay modes, and servers will run until February 7, giving you a week to rest your trigger finger before the full game's February 14 release.

Here's a full list of the demo content, courtesy of Sony:

- Eight vehicles to choose from, each with their own unique special weapons

- Two multiplayer modes: Classic free-for-all Death Match, and team-based Nuke mode-a Twisted take on Capture the Flag that's brand new to the series

- Challenge mode, where you can practice with each vehicle to hone your destructive skills

Downloaded through my US account, haven't seen it in the EU psn as yet. Been having trouble connecting to the online element of the game perhaps to do with US servers, but I see people have been having trouble connecting online, going by the GT forums.
I do however have access to the challenge mode which is you against bots, alot of fun but dead hard. As are the controls, they take a while to get used too, but I changed it in the options to race settings which I find suits me better.
The game itself from what I've seen so far is alot of fun, I will probably pick it up day 1, and this is from me playing one mode on one stage. Its not the prettiest game, but its twisted metal, alot of crazy s**t going on around you and runs supper smooth. Worth a download and trying out, but REALLY want to play an online game!!!
