Microsoft has released two more entertainment apps to Xbox 360 for those who actually have time for things other than gaming.

The Crackle app has gone live in UK, US, Canada and Australia, while the US has also now got access to a new CinemaNow app.

Both open up an even wider selection of movies and TV shows that Xbox Live users can stream down their internet pipe.

Microsoft said recently that the number of people using entertainment apps on Xbox Live increased by nearly 50 percent globally from November to December.

Yeah!!! I thought the BBC iPlayer was due in January!!! It hasn't even been on the 'coming soon' list for ages - does anyone know what has happened to it??

I downloaded the Crackle app yesterday - some of the advertised content isn't even available and the bits I tried were very poor quality!!!
