Rayman 3 HD release date confirmed

PS2-era platformer revived in HD next month

The high-def remake of PS2 classic, Rayman 3, will be arriving on PSN and XBLA on March 21.

Rayman 3 HD will run in sweet high-definition at an improved 60 frames per second.

The game originally released on PS2, Game Cube and Xbox in 2003 and sees Rayman wielding chained metal clamping devices for long-range punch attacks.

Unlike some of the more thoroughly updated HD remakes, Rayman 3 HD appears to be little more than a direct port, with no mention of Trophy/Achievement support, Move controls, 3D or any additional features, which is a shame.
