It's latest hire is Andrew Graham, the designer and coder of Micro Machines, who brings his expertise on user experiences and AI to the studio.

The studio is currently working on a title codenamed 'Vegemite', which it describes as "a strategic game that you play with other people and is classical in that it is very easy to learn but keeps delivering challenges".

Graham said: "Mobile gaming just now offers incredible and unique opportunities to innovate and the talented team I have joined at Kwalee are working on a whole pile of exciting ideas. It is a great company to be part of and a great time to join them."

Darling added: "Kwalee is looking for special people and in Andrew we have an original thinker and someone who has a deep understanding of fundamental game mechanics, and how to use that knowledge to create amazing entertainment."
