Iconic band KISS could be teaming up with Rovio for a collaborative version of Angry Birds, along with other games.
"We're talking with Angry Birds, KISS and Angry Birds, which will become a deal," he said, also confirming that discussions with "Sony games" are also in progress.
Without actually confirming any titles, Simmons said: "We are really trying to take it in areas that haven't been done before and have stayed out of the marketplace because the ideas simply weren't exciting enough. So while the gaming world is waiting for the KISS games that are going to explode, we're busy taking the brand to places where no band has gone before."
But Simmons says they are, despite possible misconceptions, conscious of retaining the brand values of the band. "Unless the deal is right and unless the content is exciting to our fans, we don't do it," he told Industry Gamers.
"Hello Kitty is one of the biggest brands on planet Earth. Now there's KISS Hello Kitty, which we've already launched in 90 countries," he noted earlier in the exact same interview.

Firstly, that is not Kiss in the picture. It's a tribute band. If you're going to feature an article about a band at least get an actual picture of the band in question. Secondly, Kiss are not overated. Album sales and still selling out tours after over 35 years do not make an overrated band. If you have seen them live then you'll know what I mean.
Yes, I am a life long KISS fan and yes I do think they cash in and yes, KISS is a brand and they do not pretend to sell it to the fans in any other way. But KISS are an inspirational force in rock music in the same way as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin etc.
Would love a KISS rock band or guitar hero. HINT HINT! LOL
