If a year passed without a new Call of Duty game arriving, it's quite possible that the world would stop turning.
We all know the score by now: every year, Activision spoils us with a new Call of Duty game, with Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternating between the development duties...
Black Ops 2 IS coming
Which means that this year, it's Treyarch's turn to bring us our CoD fix. And sure enough, it looks like we're going to get Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. On what evidence do we base that theory? Well, we know that Activision has secured the Black Ops 2 web domain .

multiplayer needs that extra "wicked" charm, new background images, better prestige icons and needs to double it to at least 30, more wager match game modes, bit bigger maps...
they need to release blackops 2 full game with all dlc for £25 later down the line
they need to have hardcore match game mode with upto 18 players
and i hope to god they dont just remake the same maps as that would be a loss for treyarch as a company

black ops had a story (even if it was messed up)
actually made you think (storywise)
customisation (which went down well but got scrapped for mw3)
wager matches (scrapped again)
zombies which is 9999999999x better than spec ops (in zombies you actually go for something ie mystery in the map (call of the dead))
and more which all got cut out!

@Dicky - I agree mate, Black Ops was great. I still think COD 4 is just about the best, but I played Black Ops online more than any of them, and I went through the campaign 3 times and I hardly ever do that. I hope they stick with the whole Kennedy conspiracy theme but just tell the bloody story better cos even after 3 playthroughs I struggle to figure out what the hell happened!
Plus they need a better ending too. Black Ops ending was waaayy too cheesey.
Also, I reckon it'll be on WiiU but I couldn't see me playing it with that pad. It's probably cos every single picture makes it look MASSIVE.

You get it and play on it, but ultimatley... you dont enjoy its company.
dont get me wrong, mw3 sucked too (clone of all the rest).

I much prefered the maps in Black Ops to MW3, especially Nuketown. All the characters blend into the background too much in MW3. Bring back the attack dogs killstreak too, cheap but fun! Lol

Yeah I loved the Dogs, I used to use Blackbird (best and most useful killstreak) Chopper gunner then dogs.
I just hope they don't change much in terms of balancing etc as I thought the only things they got wrong was the Second chance and the stupid Ghost perk.
yeah I think that's the biggest problem with MW3, people blending in with the environment too much.Y
