Black Ops 2 will pick up precisely where Black Ops left off
Since Treyarch has, so far, only made one Black Ops game, it wouldn't be unreasonable to presume that its writers have countless storylines lined up that lead straight on from where it left off. Which, of course, strongly hinted that the brainwashed Mason reverted to his original programming, and assassinated President John F Kennedy.
Or did he? Either way, there's an awful lot of scope for the twist and cliffhanger-laden Cold War storylines for which Treyarch is renowned these days. It's early days, and Treyarch is remaining unsurprisingly tight-lipped about Black Ops 2's story. But it refuses to rule out the possibility of Black Ops 2 picking up where its predecessor left off. And Kennedy's assassination - the spark for countless conspiracy theories -- would be the perfect intro to the game, wouldn't it?
