DiRT Showdown gameplay videos: Baja race, 8-Ball track and more

Exclusive footage of Codies' latest

DiRT Showdown is described as "an arcade-style spin-off" that takes the extreme-sports elements from DiRT 2, the Gymkhana DiRT 3, and then chucks a bit of Destruction Derby into the mix.

Sounds good right? It looks pretty good too.

Just take a look at these exclusive gameplay videos we've got our hands on. The first video features the Baja race, the second shows off the 8-Ball track, while the third is centred around a little Destruction Derby. That'll keep you petrol heads entertained for a bit.

Enjoy.

Speaking to CVG after the game's announcement, Codies designer Mike Chapman claimed the racing franchise has "outgrown a single game" and promised it will return to pure rally gameplay with the next numbered instalment.

    ^THIS.

Time to stop catering for the arcade crowd for once and make a proper rally sim.

I think It looks rather cool to be fair. I don't like that guy's cheesy voice to be honest, it's a bit like the one from Burnout Crash.
