To the surprise of absolutely nobody, EA's all but confirmed it's to unveil the next Medal of Honor game at a US press event next month.

Of course anyone who purchased Battlefield 3 last year - or indeed finished the last Medal of Honor - won't be surprised to hear it's being granted a follow-up.
An insert featuring Medal of Honor 2 artwork was included with retail copies of EA's other triple-A FPS, featuring little more than a picture and a BBFC logo.
Medal of Honor developer Danger Close Games was also seen to be openly hiring developers for an "unannounced AAA first person shooter title" back in January 2011.
To wrap it all up in a nice package, yesterday PSM3 magazine started teasing a "mystery shooter sequel" for its next issue.
Put March 6 in your diary.

1st one bombed - but I liked.
Hope Ea trust Danger close to do their own multiplayer this year.

Make the game longer and probably add a harder setting I and will definitely buy this, the first one was pretty good albeit too short and too easy, even Tier 1 mode was easy enough because you had already been through the game once.
The Frontline HD package on the same disc lasted me longer.
I agree with the above as well, let Danger Close have a crack at the online this time, DICEs online section on the last game felt like a poor mans Battlefield.

Considering the technical state the MOH campaign was in, Danger Close should be extremely grateful if they're getting a second chance.

Yeah, there was a couple of levels where the frame rate was really bad on the consoles, especially the apache mission which was terrible. Still a good game though and enjoyed it even if i did complete it on hard mode in a couple of days.

LOL I was talking about the times where one of the guys on my squad vanished into thin air somehow, unfortunately I needed him to open a gate, it took me ten minutes to work out what had happened then same thing again, couldn't progress because my guy couldn't get off his quad bik.

It just wasn't ready at all at the time. I remember some levels being fine and others where ropey as hell. The best thing they could do for the second one is make sure it gets finished.
I agree with stripping DICE out of MP though. The game needs it's own identity rather than just being diet Battlefield.

I really enjoyed the first game on PC, short, sweet and to the point, a little bit like Homefront, which i also liked!

at least it was a true thing not made up war, i liked it more for that
Drusus on 7 Feb '12 said:
It was all made up dude. It's a game war all events are made up and acted out on screen by by made up characters, setting it in a fictional or non fictional war should be irrelevant.
All war games from Battlefield to CoD are less realistic than playing soldiers in the back yard with a stick. Set it in the world of Skies of Arcadia it wouldn't make it less realistic. lol.

And let me guess, it's going to be a CoD beater
The last one was alright, but at no point was it what you'd describe as fun.

Ah another in the long series (clever EA badging three games in one franchise, makes idiots think they are all different) Anyhow I loved the last MOH and hope Danger Close stick with that 'feel' rather chasing the COD BF style, not that I don't love BF but in the areas it COD-cloned it sucks balls. No I want another bonza SP for MOH, lots of variation, some suspense and absolutely no evil russians (unless we are talking about in the future when we fight them over Syria
) I liked the MOH MP last time too (this has more claim to the genesis of BF IMO than anything else)
ps Please put in what Dice forgot with BF3 ie. chopper and jet tutorials, flashlights that are not mini versions of the sun and private matches for christ sake. (I won't add the many needed fixes as we have all been here before)

I suffered the quad bike glitch, bloody annoying. The most disappointing thing about the multiplayer was the spawn trapping. It made the game unplayable. If they sort the multiplayer out I will buy, play and enjoy as I will BLOPS 2.

Can't wait for this, most didnt like Medal of Honor - at all, but im one of the idiots in the crowd that did, so Medal of Honor 2 - bring it on. Ignoring the haters.

the logo's quite cool

Actually, it wasn't ALL made up. It was a fictionalised account of the first battle of the war. I think the game portrayed pretty well the total cluster f##k that happened on that mountain with the SEALs getting shot to hell. You should read about the battle. It's interesting stuff.
I enjoyed the game too and gotta say I didn't see any of the frame rate issues or 'disappearing NPC' issues either. Wasn't so keen on the MP though and I am a massvie Dice fan. I'd like to see what Danger Close could do with that too.

Im guessing here now but id say, either, WOW, PES, or a COD fanboy??, i dont know maybe you just hate decent games and cant admit that EA have fairly good games.
Either way a your a 10 year old troll, without a Brain and a point.
