Yesterday Kojima posted a pretty boring image of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection running on Vita. Apparently it was popular enough to warrant posting a few more today.

According to the details revealed through Kojima's official Twitter feed players will be able to "slice enemy's throat with knife if you flick the rear touch pad." Sounds good to us.
As well as cutting fools the rear touch panel can also be used to manipulate the camera.
"If you pinch out left and right on real touch panel with first person camera, you can stretch up yourself," he said.
We're not totally sure what he means by 'you can stretch up yourself', we're hoping he means leaning out, which was achieved in the previous games by holding a both shoulder buttons, and not some other new inappropriate action introduced for the Vita. We wouldn't put it past the man.
Kojima is currently working alongside the Japanese voice actors to re-record some of the dialogue for the Vita release.

been playing MGS2 on ps3. on vita, the battery would've run out by the time you've completed the first level!
i think that's why peace walker was made as a more short burst type of game to play.
it really does look excellent for a ps2 remake, and the sound is first class. really helps immerse you.
the controls are a little jarring and awkward, but this is not necessarily a bad thing - just a sign of its time... it's deliciously old school and part of the experience.
hiding in a locker paedo breathing ftw.
and for vita, the rear touch panel is a nice touch i suppose. i hate touch screen controls (on the front) as i think it takes away from the immersion. makes gaming feels like a crappy hoop-jumping or QTE exercise.
