EA CFO Eric Brown leaves company

EA's chief financial officer Eric Brown will leave the company next week, it's reported.

This is according to Gamastra, who reports that Brown will serve his last day with EA on February 17, after which he will make the jump to communications company Polycom as CFO and COO.

Kenneth Barker, EA's current chief accounting officer and senior vice president, will fill in as CFO in place of Brown.

Brown first joined the company in 1998, leaving to serve spells at MicroStrategy and McAfee before returning to EA in 2008.

EA is yet to issue official confirmation.
