Tiger Woods PGA 13 'Better with Kinect' trailer

EA shows off the controller-less gameplay on Xbox

EA may be publishing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 on PS3 too, but it's kicking Sony to the curb with this new 'Better with Kinect' trailer for the Xbox version.

It shows how you can combine voice commands and motions to control the game, without the use of a physical controller.

But you swing sideways, not forwards. And do we like pretending to hold something that isn't there, readers?

Give us the PS3 version with Move. Cheers.

Err no? After playing last years effort with move i'm really hoping that this is "Better with Kinect". Did you even watch the video or play last years effort? This looks brilliant with kinect, as opposed to Move where the sensor starts drifting, it takes you about 4 attempts to set it up correctly, you swing and the guy does nothing on screen because you've swung too fast for the sensor, it has trouble picking the remote up when it swings past your head and you need a second pad turned on all the time even though your not using it, even worse if you've set your pads to turn off after 10 mins of inactivity.

Don't get me wrong when it worked it worked fine but the niggles do start to grate. Plus the whole standing side on feels weird, with this you won't have to keep turning to the side, it'll just be head down swing away.

Also this should make MP so much easier without having to pass the move remote around a couple of people, it'll also get rid of the fear of someone not fastening the move controllers band and launching the thing through your telly.

Looks like it works fine to me, Mike. The upcoming demo will reveal all anyway.

Quite a delay there when he did the movements to be translated on screen, looks like Kinect needs to get better.. or better yet just work on a good VR system which would be groundbreaking.

I think VR is the only thing that would move me away from being a PC gamer.
