Analysts at Japanese investment company Nomura Securities have said they expect Metal Gear Solid 5 to be released during Konami's fiscal year 2014.

Last year, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima said Kojima Productions would "probably have to make" Metal Gear Solid 5 "at some point".
He later commented that he "wanted to end it at every step along the way," but would like to keep on meeting fan demands.
Kojima is currently working on an open-world game codenamed 'Project Ogre' but has also promised an 'authentic stealth MGS' in the future.

Only 2 years to "film" 140 hours of cut scenes and tack a game on? Bit ambitious, I'd say 2021 would be more likely.

So your basically calling MGS1(PC) and anything from the HD collection turd because it's multi-format. Nearly all MGS games are multi-format so STFU.

I've been saying it for ages, a game based on Liquid Snake on his time with the SAS, and when he got captured and was behind enemy lines, would make for a great MGS game. Lots of room for experimentation there. Could also show how he came to be evil in the first game.

Stupid analysts and stupid CVG for reporting on daft stories, of course MGS5 will be released in the next 2 years. Don't need anyone to tell us we can guess!
