Frictional Games, the developer of so-scary-it-will-turn-your-pants-brown Amnesia: The Dark Descent, has created a teaser site for what looks like a sequel to the PC survival horror title.
The site - which has 'nextfrictionalgame' in the URL, thereby eliminating the possibility that it's DLC, features a blurry image of what looks like two candles and something that will probably scare the crap out of us in between them.
The Amnesia logo dominates the top of the site, while the phrase 'Something is emerging...' is written on the bottom of the page. Clicking the image leads to a Google Maps view of China.
Rock, Paper, Shotgun's digging has also revealed some meta information embedded in the site. It mentions a list of keywords including "3D game, frictional games, advanced physics, survivial [sic] horror, action adventure, first person, horror, scary, HPL, work in progress, upcoming game, next frictional game, game development."
Along with it is this message: "Welcome to the next frictional game site, a site with information about our game projects in development. We use this site to post content about a project in development, during the period it does not have a final name decided."
Last year, following its success as a digital title, THQ released a boxed version of Amnesia at retail. If you haven't already you should hunt it down.
