Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3DS demo this week

Nintendo has confirmed that a Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater 3D demo will be released this week as part of the eShop update.

The demo will give players "a taste of the classic stealth action" and a chance to sample the reworked control scheme designed specifically for 3DS.

We've been neck-deep in Metal Gear recently. Last month Konami released a compilation featuring high-definition versions of MGS2, Snake Eater and Peace Walker.

The publisher has since started teasing the release of the Vita version of the collection, and just this morning there were whispers of a potential Metal Gear Solid 5 release window.
