Nintendo has slapped an April 13, 2012 release date on Pandora's Tower for Wii.

The highly sought-after title is the third game in a sort of holy trinity of Japanese Wii RPGs, alongside Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story. The former eventually launched in Europe last August, while the latter arrives on February 24.

Promising real-time combat, motion controls, multiple endings and a unique relationship system, Pandora's Tower follows Aeron, a 22-year old former soldier who must battle through a mysterious monster-filled tower collecting the flesh of beasts in order to lift a curse placed on his beloved friend Elena that's gradually transforming her into a demonic creature.

This is nothing short of fantastic. I love the look of this game and this one excited me the most out of all three before I played Xenoblade and that blew my mind. Hopefully this will do the same!

It is odd that the Wii seems to get all the best RPGs.
If we didn't get Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower my Wii would never get switched on.
