The first paid DLC for a Nintendo 3DS title has gone live in Japan.
The game is Tobidasu Print Club Kiradeco Revolution, an app that lets you take pictures and edit them with stamps, frames and more in the style of those Japanese photo booths.
The DLC offered comes in the form of three decorative packs, themed after Mario Kart 7, Mario in general and and 'Spring Trial Set'.
Each set costs 100 Yen, which is about £0.80, or US $1.27.
The app handles the download via in-app access to the DLC content, so no need to quit the game and go through the eShop, as you can see in the video below.
Square Enix game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is expected to be the first full retail release title to support paid DLC.
