I'd reccommend God Hand to everyone. If you like a challenge and like game that make you laugh its well worth £8 just a shame it's just a straight port.

Maximo is one of my favourite PS2 games. For me, it's one of the better 3D imaginings of a classic 2D series (Ghost 'n Goblins). I'd love to see Ghouls 'n Ghosts released on XBLA/PSN/Steam. How about it Capcom? Maybe a double pack with Strider like you did with Final Fight/Magic Sword? Go on. Games are too easy these days. :)

These PS2 games don't interest me other than SSX on tour but that wasn't that great. Some PS2 games that I want are...

    GTA San Andreas
    GTA Vice City
    GTA liberty city stories
    Smackdown Here Comes The Pain
    Bully
    Manhunt 1
    The warriors

    Erm, that's a PS3 game...

I remember Road Trip Adventure. Bizarre game, but great fun. However, it was £7.99 when it was new!!!

Somone make it happen or I will curl up into a ball and cry like a 5 year old who has just been denied the latest Ben 10 action figure!

Stuntman Ignition was also released on the PS2. Not sure why anyone would want it over the PS3 version though.

If you've got a PSP there's a really good 2 1/2d remake for it; Ultimate Ghosts N' Goblins.

Nope because most peoples original launch model has died most likely.

£8 for games I can get off eBay for £2-£4,no thanks Sony.

Always fancied God hand , Maximo titles were excellent, highly underated.

They're adding another PS1 game today as well. It's Fear Effect 2, a good game with lesbians in....so it's a double win.

The early PS3s could play PS2 games. Not all, but most. To cut costs and RRP, however, Sony removed what was, effectively, the PS2 CPU from subsequent PS3s so the backwards compatibility disappeared. Though, the fact that these games effectively run under emulation makes you wonder why they didn't just sell an emulator on PSN instead. Conspiracy theorists, form an orderly queue here....

    €10, is it a joke?

    "Classics" as well!

Plus, how is it possible to have these digital, but not from a PS2 disc? PS3 reads DVD's!

I agree, those that already own can play, those that dont could buy digital. Same with PSP/Vita too. Why should I pay again to play a game, just to save hassle of setting up/using the other machine? Its also a way to keep people loyal and not frustrate customers. Have them for purchase for those who missed out first time, its fine in my books.

Not only should this be HD upped , surely there should be a live action film based on this, perhaps starring Lucy Pinder and ice t's wife coco or failing that Julie Peasgood and Vanessa Feltz, yum yum

I so want these HD remade. The first was great, but the second didn't have good enough graphics compared to the first. The new modes made up for that though.

However, a port of these titles would be good, just so long as my PS3 doesn't end up like PS2. Dead because of constant playing on these.

    So are these vita compatable?

Just had a gander at the title's available on the store. "Classics" indeed!

  28. Richyrich316 on 15 Feb '12 said:

And this is why Sony removed backwards comp not just to trim the manufacturing costs but so that at some later point they can squeeze you for more money for games that you may have already purchased but cannot play on ps3.

Obviously they have an emulator that works but to just let you pay for that & buy the PS2 games you would like to play will not make as much cash as selling you the games again.
