If Mark Hamill doesn't win for his performance as joker there is no justice in the world.

Not sure I'd really class Portal 2 as an action game.

Skyward Sword for GOTY for me, followed closely by Portal 2. BF3 for online. Would like to see From Dust get some love too.

My only complaint is no love for the Witcher 2. But I guess because that's currently only on PC, mainstream awards don't care about it. Maybe it will get recognition after the 360 version is released. It might not actually win any awards but it at least deserves a nomination.

I still havent played Skyrim, don't want to waste my money in case it's unplayable like it is for 1000s of others, does that deserve an award and a pat on the back of the devs for a job well done? Not in my book!!!!

Deus Ex is missing from the official 'Best Game' award too? What's going on? That game got massive praise when it came out, then got forgotten about a month or two later.

I hope Deus Ex wins the 'Original Music' award too. Fantastic soundtrack, that.

Agreed- the music is superb. I'd have nominated it for the best visual achievement too- in a genre that's done to death it's managed to create a unique style.

Yay from Dust got a mention! Yes it's got a ton of missed potential and they f**ked up the PC version but the physics engine is fantastic. Imagine if they remade Populous with that engine!(NO NOT YOU UBISOFT, SOMEONE ELSE!!!) The other day I f**ked over nature: rerouted a river into a volcano ............ it didn't go entirely to plan  ......... then the world set on fire and my dooods dieded :( ........ STILL, that's one way to improve Mondays!

Can't understand all the clamouring (love that word) for BAFTAS for games.
For example, last year, The Only Way is Essex got an award in last year's ceremony.
Would you really wanna see your favourite game in that sorta spivvy, scummy, pointless, idiotic, one hit wonder with no depth to it whatsoever, wanky company?

    Well wouldja?

If it won the BAFTA for the biggest load of old b*****ks, then yes. Yes, I would.
