Activision's lack of faith in United Front Games' True Crime: Hong Kong might work in Square Enix's favour in the long run.

While it's impossible to tell if it'll be a best in class experience at this stage, the brief taster of driving; close combat; and shooting we got to have recently is a clear indication that Sleeping Dogs holds plenty of potential.

I do like the games idea's of open world cinematic combat. But animations for me look a little poor will definitely consider buying if they improve animations when running and dodging people. Glad to see this series revived though

I agree with some here in that the title is a bit crap, but i will always call it True Crime when im talking to friends about it. I hope this game sells well, put Activision in it's place. I liked the previous True Crime games, even though flawed. But still thought they were great, which gives me high hopes for this one. It looks alright, combat should be good as its from the guys that worked on Arkham Asylum. Definately on my to-buy list

Looks pretty interesting, that title looks more like a subtitle to me. There should be another name to call that title by, something tasty like No Remorse: Sleeping Dogs! and thus if it's great it can run with the title and make more. Shoot call it something else entirely.
