Activision making new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game?

Publisher may have partnered with Nickelodeon for new animated series game tie-in

Rocksteady has denied reports it's developing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, but Activision may be creating and publishing one.

ToyArk.com was in attendance at the recent Toy Fair, where it snapped the photo to the left, naming the Call of Duty publisher as a "key licensee" working with Nickelodeon on the TMNT property alongside comic publisher IDW.

Ubisoft previously held the TMNT license but lost it last June, and Activision has worked with Nickelodeon on numerous occasions to turn its series into video games, Ninja Pizza reports.

Nickelodeon's set to launch a new animated TMNT series this year. Could we see Activision release a tie-in game?

Even if there's not going to be a Rocksteady-developed Turtles game afterall, I might still be up for some Modern Turtlefare.

A Turles game in the mould of Arkham city would have been super though - ninja missions across Manhattan and then back to the sewer hideout for Pizza...

Judging by your profile pic, I'm guessing you'd like them to make an Arkham City sequel? I'd welcome that, but it would be interesting to see if they'd handle another comic book ip just as well.

Urgh- are they really going for that angular style? Looks ugly as hell. I was hoping Rocksteady would be up for developing A TMNT game- they'd know how to pull it off- a cross between light comedy and extreme violence. 8)

    If it's Activision I won't be touching it with a 10 foot bo-staff.

I'd have loved a TMNT game in the style of Batman and Activision will clearly ruin it as they have no pedigree whatsoever in games...

May as well announce that it'll be a yearly tie-in. Then again I LOVE TMNT (not in an obsessive way) 8)

What polar opposites to be associated with this property.

There's already one on XBLA, so no need.

it's probably in relation to the new Turtles movie currently in production. Activision does seem to jump on board with these kinda movie games.
