Modern Warfare 3 - Overwatch DLC gameplay trailer

Rooftop battles atop a New York City skyscraper arrive on Xbox Live tomorrow

Activision has sent over a short but sweet Modern Warfare 3 gameplay teaser trailer showing off the new Overwatch map DLC.

Xbox 360 Call of Duty Elite premium subscribers will get access to the new map tomorrow, February 21. PS3 owners will have to wait a month or so for it, although the game's first two DLC maps, Liberation and Piazza, which hit Microsoft's console last month, will arrive on Sony's system on February 28.

Set on a construction site atop a New York City skyscraper, Overwatch "takes place along two levels in a near symmetrical layout, with the central bridge and side routes open to attack from multiple angles", according to the official announcement.

There's some more footage of the map here.

That was very brief!!! Still looking forward to having this new map tomorrow as it will make the Elite Playlist slightly better. Does anyone know when the maps will be available in 'Survival' and other play modes?

Looks very similar to Highrise from MW2 to me, in fact its too similar 8) . PS3 Elite members must be feeling pretty p**sed that 360 owners get a second drop before they have even had the first.

There are certain similarities about it - I agree but I also think it is quite different too. The real test will be in the way the map plays though and I think it has more available play area than Highrise too. I wonder if it will have an elevator (like hotel) as it is over 2 floors.

I'm sorry but did they just show somebody quickscoping with a sniper? That is low, even the PR guys play like dicks.

ps3 owners will have to get use to it for the next 6 years...microsoft paid activion 50 million to have the dlc maps first on their system..

Yet if it was the other way around then you'd be up in arms.

Maybe - either that or I would have just bought it for the PS3 instead!!! :D Actually though you don't tend to hear xbox owners moan as much about all the perks that PS3 owners get (BF3 - early access to DLC and FREE Battlefield 1943 for example)

I do think that it is ridiculous the amount of time that PS3 owners have had to wait though!! A fortnight MAXIMUM but this is over a month!

Anyway having played this Map quite a few times today - It may look a bit like 'Highrise' and the fact that it is set on top of a building is the ONLY real similarity! The first (lower) floor is rather large and has quite a few long range sight lines but also quite a bit of cover too. The second (upper) floor is a little smaller but also offers similar options.

I would say this is another large map especially as it is over two floors but not as open as 'Liberation'. I have heard that Robert Bowling wants larger maps for the DLC and so far the 3 maps have been on the larger scale.

I quite like all of the maps so far and think they are good additions to the 16 supplied maps. I think these 3 offer more variety of game style though

I agree about the wait. But I was just replying about his blatant fanboyism. (look at his posts for a chuckle)

I've noticed!!!!! Doesn't matter what the topic, game or even genre it still seems someone has to post about how much they hate MW3 (or any CoD) Even if I didn't like a game, I have better things to do than go around posting that fact all over the internet!
