A "scam" app claiming to replicate Nintendo's Pokémon Yellow has appeared on the iOS App Store, once again highlighting Apple's questionable quality control.

App Store users have less pleasant things to say about the knock off, however: angry customers are calling the game a "scam", calling for refunds and claiming the app doesn't even load.
Earlier this month Apple was forced to pull Angry Birds and Temple Run clones that had somehow made it on to the App Store, and even reached the top 25 selling apps.

Funny that in a article about quality control, CVG spells clone wrong.

Looks like a bunch of apple fanboys are trying to hurt 3DS' new found dominance by converting Pokemon games and putting them on the app store. TOUGH!

It's an app that shows just screenshots from the game. That's all those scammers have done. They've done the same for Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I guess nobody cares about that.
Can't believe so many people get fooled these. If something is too good to be true, it probably is...

This is equivalent to those ebay scams where an auction for an Xbox 360 turned out to be an auction for a picture of an Xbox 360, and you had to read the small print to see it....

Amazing how low some people will go for the sake of 69 pence. Seriously, there are better attempts at emulators.
