Darts - whichever way you shake it - isn't the most thrilling of spectator sports, but Top Darts manages to make it seem even duller.
It fundamentally changes the mechanics of the ale-soaked sport from throwing to flicking. Position your arrows with a finger, then flick up to launch them. It's closer to curling than anything.
There are, however, plenty of gametypes: Mulligan, Tic-Tac-Toe and Nine Lives are more conventional, but Vita-only minigames are welcome novelties. Mayhem destroys parts of the board with bomb darts, while Launch Off requires you to hit numbers in a sequence to fire a rocket - difficult when throwing is so imprecise.
The one obvious upside: you can throw darts at a realtime video feed of your face.
It's darts but, quite simply, darts doesn't work with a touchscreen.
