Sony has detailed this weeks PlayStation Store content drop, and there's a few golden nuggets hidden within the dubious pile of Dynasty Warriors avatars and nature themes.
Of them we've got our eyes on the SSX demo, which distant mumbling around the office leads us to believe is pretty darn good, and the Starhawk beta, which we've been quite looking forward to getting stuck into.

Feels this Starhawk beta is being released every week now, for the uninitiated...don't bother, its a mess, completely uninspired and full of connection problems, not a patch on Warhawk was and still is. I'm curious to try the SSX demo having been a fan of the original when it was launched alongside the PS2 way back in the day, a solid racer with which I have some happy memories. Lastly, this idea of releasing PS2 games at - I believe - at ludicrous prices feels a little too late in my opinion, a large selection very good on PS3 games now fill the 2nd hand shelves and can be picked up at a fraction of the cost...yes, Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution was the best on initial release but Virtua Fighter 5 is now better and besides which, I'm waiting impatiently for what is Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown which will be the ultimate.

Indeed, it's cracking, some ot the best missions in the game alongside the zombie outbreak one. A few new cool vehicles and costumes too, well worth a flim.

SSX is very average, the demo is also very limited. It's not Tricky at all in terms of everything. The controls and the track are average, the worst bit is the soundtrack. The menu is poor by PS3 standards. It's ok to play but I'm afraid it's more annoying than challenging.
