It's been a great day for gaming headlines, which were largely dominated by the PlayStation Vita launch, but some other major stories held their own against Sony's new console.

Elsewhere, Kojima Productions revealed its staffing up for the "next" game in the Metal Gear Solid series, presumably referring to MGS5, the awesome-looking Borderlands 2 was given a September release date, Microsoft accidently outed upcoming Mass Effect 3 DLC, and Nintendo announced a Brain Training game for 3DS.
New Borderlands 2 and Lollipop Chainsaw trailers also grabbed our attention.

For "new" MGS game see a scaled back version of what is possible on PS3, see likewise with Borderlands. Its crazy, you can pick up today a PS3 for cheaper than the Vita, and for those who argue that you cant play a PS3 on the move I say take a break, do you really wanna be playing the same s**t 24/7? Least with Nintendo you get 2 completely different experiences with the Wii and DS, Sony's answer with this Vita appears to be squeezing the PS3's memory and screen enough so it can come with you on your travels, big deal!
