Following up from the game's release date announcement earlier today, Nintendo has released a gameplay trailer for Mario Tennis Open on 3DS.

Anyone who remembers the brilliant Mario Power Tennis on GameCube will be getting nostalgic tingles as they watch this, because it looks just like it - and will look better when you see it in 3D.

Nintendo confirmed - as part of a fuller release schedule issued earlier today - that Mario Tennis Open will be out on May 25.
