Spirit Camera confirmed for UK - trailer

Nintendo has confirmed that Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir will be released in UK, and set a Q2 2012 release.

Originally only announced for Japan, Spirit Camera was last month also confirmed for a US release on April 13 - a Friday, fittingly. The game got its UK confirmation today via a new Nintendo release schedule.

Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir is a unique augmented reality horror game that uses the console's cameras to show ghosts and ghouls in the player's environment.

It also comes with a '16-page AR Book' which, when looked at through the 3DS, will appear to spew ghosts into the real world that will attack you from all directions, or suck the player into a virtual world within the game.

According to the story: "Players must help Maya break free from a terrifying curse by aiding her escape from the clutches of a malevolent woman in black."
