Nintendo has teased 3DS owners with the prospect of new Zelda games in the near future with a tantilising Swapnote message.

According to Kotaku, a new note from Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma arrived today, saying: "Hello, this is Aonuma, Nintendo's Legend of Zelda producer. Did you enjoy The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D? Thanks to everyone, the Legend of Zelda series had a very happy 25th anniversary."
He went on to tease: "I hope you're looking forward to new Legend of Zelda games," in a note adorned with awesome Zelda sprites.
We say 'according to Kotaku' because we just checked our Swapnote inbox and this message wasn't there. Perhaps it's a regional roll-out.
Nintendo has previously confirmed that an 'all-new' Legend of Zelda game is being worked on for 3DS, but is yet to reveal any specific information on the title.
All eyes on E3 in June.

because he references the OOT remake it makes me think he's hinting at a Majora's Mask remake. It's the same engine isn't it? would be silly not to capitalize..

Why? Why would you want another remake? Is a new Zelda too much to ask?

Nice touch.
But there's no way in hell he wrote that message himself.
I'm normally against remakes, but Majora's Mask is an amazing game. It really deserves one.

Be patient... I received several messages from my friends using the Zelda stationery before getting the actual note itself.

Oh come on, ST wasn't that bad!
Oh okay, it was, but new console, new start, right?

After finding Phantom Hourglass a little underwhelming, I picked up ST not expecting too much but
thought it was great - my favourite portable Zelda. Far less repetition & fetch quests, just focused challenges and choo-chooing the train was an evergreen delight.
Keeping your expectations in check is always the best approach in my book.

A new Zelda is inevitable and always welcome, however, after just finishing Skyward Sword I did feel like I had seen half of the game before. Perhaps an entirely new approach to the series would be nice. Just make sure it contains Link, Zelda and that great game design we all love. No voice acting though. I like my Link silent and letting my imagination fill in the voices for the other characters.
On a non related issue. I can't stand American voice actors, so the likes of Xenoblade Chronicle's British actors was most welcome. If any of you haven't already played it, you must!

They still weren't great, though. Japanese with English (the British variety) subs. all the way!

I hope they will show some zelda action for wii U during E3.
Just doing that would hype the console so much.
Or I would also totaly love a new 2d Zelda for 3ds.
