Fire Emblem Awakening trailer shows gameplay, intro cinematic

Nintendo of Japan today released a new trailer for Fire Emblem Awakening for 3DS.

The footage offers the first proper look at in-game battles, along with a load of footage from the game's gorgeous opening cinematic.

You be forgiven for forgetting that the Fire Emblem series is even on its way to 3DS, given Nintendo's silence on the game since its announcement last year.

Very little is known about the game, but expect more of the brilliant story-driven strategy battle action the series is known for (and something to tie you over until Nintendo coughs up an Advance Wars announcement).
