Pity they won't use classic Sonic seeing as this is just a re-imagining of the old games- even the logo is a direct copy of the Megadrive Sonic 2 title screen... just with Steve in place of Sonic.

A swimming section though? Not sure about that. The Labyrinth Zones would have been far too easy if you had that skill back in the day...

I like episode 1 it was breath of fresh air so they have replaced sonic with Steve that's fine and I like the homing attack I find myself doing in error now on the older sonic games I played cd for the first time over Xmas it was rubbish and to me does not belong in the sonic 2d collection.

Are you serious!???? Sonic CD is one of the best sonic games in the whole sonic library!! Not to mention one of the best value for money on XBLA. Sonic 1 episode 4 is nowhere near the greatness of the 2D games.

As for this it looks better than steve's first 2D try out, but I'm waiting to try a demo, I do wonder if tails will be invincible again though lol.

I aint sure about this, after playing Sonic Generations this doesn't look too good at all, i understand its out for mobile devices and can't look as good but i'd like it to have the old sonic and controls, the modern one doesn't fit in there.
