Bungie co-founder forms mobile dev for the core gamer

"No more inferior gameplay, graphics or elementary mechanics," promises Seropian

Alex Seropian, a co-founder of Bungie, has formed a new development studio that'll produce mobile games for core gamers.

The studio, named Industrial Toys, promises to deliver games for the hardcore crowd that exceed the mini-game, sub-par standards expected from mobile gaming.

"We believe in the future of mobile. No more excuses for inferior game play, graphics, and idle time-wasters with cute names and elementary mechanics. We believe in the audience of core gamers who are waiting, demanding respect," reads the studio's official Facebook page.

"And we're prepared to over deliver with something they've never seen in the world of mobile - artistically-envisioned high-quality production, intricately advanced layers of narrative and gameplay in a free-to-play model designed to inspire rather than exploit," it adds.

The studio's first game is "to be announced soon".
